Agenda Emerge

This past weekend I attended Agenda Emerge. It was an event where some of the most prominent men in independent fashion spoke. Moderated by Jon Buscemi www.gourmetfootwear.com the speakers were Jeff Staple www.stapledesign.com Johnny Cupcakes www.johnnycupcakes.com Bobby Hundreds www.thehundreds.com and last but not least Marc Ecko www.marcecko.com I can’t remember a lineup of speakers that I have been more interested in hearing. Laughter, inspiration, and F-bombs were themed throughout the presentations. The height of the night was when Marc Ecko poured himself a glass of cognac, sat down and told us life/business lessons using quotes from the Biggie Smalls song titled, “Ten Crack Commandments.” If there is one thing they taught me it’s that these men became successful at being themselves. After all, what is more authentic than that?
